The
Location
Located at about 30 Kms from the Koti
and just 10 KMs from International Airport, on the
Srisailam Road, Near FAB City, Lemoor(V), Kandukur (M), Greater
Hyderabad, in Sylvan surroundings against the backdrop of a range
of mountains, the Institute is spread over an undulating area of about
25 acres. It overlooks an area filled with orchids and farms. Nearly a
hundred trees have been planted in the campus, and a watershed
percolation tank has been provided to add to the water table. The campus
provided an idyllic pollution free environment for nurturing excellence.
The Environment
The Institute is in vicinity of major R&D
establishment like Research Centre Imarat, Fab City, the Defense
Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), the Defense Electronics
Research and Development Laboratory (DMRL) and other units of the
Defence Research Metallurgical Research Organisation (DRDO), Hardware
Park, Rajiv Gandhi Nano Technology Park. The other Industrial Units in
the environs include the Computer Hardware centre and the small scale
Industry area of the state of Andhra Pradesh. A major Electric
substation providing the Electrical power from the Srisailam
Hydroelectric project is next to the Institute, in addition to other
Industries. The Institute has planned to take advantage of its location
to develop training programme for its students.
The
Infrastructure
The main accommodation for the Institute consists
of an architecturally well designed four storey building of about 80,000
sq.ft. It has ceramic flooring throughout.

In addition to the RCC building, there are 2 sheds of 20,000 sq. ft.,
which in addition to housing the workshops, are proposed to house the
canteen, Sports Rooms, NCC/NSS/Cooperative Stores and Student Activities
Centers (SAC).
The
Facilities
The Library is stocked with nearly
25000 books and
about 100 students can sit and study at at a time.
The Computer Laboratory has 600 Pentium-4 Systems with 15' color
monitors & 17" LCD Monitors with Networking and Servers and Internet, All the
Six hundred
students can work independently at the same time.
The Physics Laboratory, the Fuels and Lubricants Laboratory and the
workshop has the facility to perform all the experiments prescribed.
There are specious well ventilated class rooms' LCD Projectors,
Overhead projectors and tutorial classes.
In addition there will be a canteen, An Electronic class room; Internet
Access to the students and the Electronic & Computer clubs.
Buses will be run from various points in the city to bring the students
and take them back.

The Institute is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological
University, and approved by the AICTE and the Government of Andhra
Pradesh.
The
Teaching Methodology
In order to make the teaching more effective, as
outlines in our mission statement, the college will implement a Teaching
Methodology and Monitoring programme. The main points in the TMM
Programme are as follows:
Advance Lecture Schedule for each unit of Instruction
Instructional Objectives for each lecture Six Units tests
Immediate Valuations and Checking of papers by students
Tabulations of attendance of marks by each unit Meetings of the class review committees for each class to review marks
and attendance for each unit Unit report to parents Feedback from students
Remedial classes, where ever required Periodical Parents Meetings with Institute Authorities & Staff
Laboratory Classes
Providing students with Laboratory Instructions.
And lab advisors for advising and guiding the students.
Marks allotted for each experiment.
A student Information System will be maintained to give the Static and
Dynamic information about each student at any given time, to the parents
or authorities.

Curricular Activities
The Institute believes that mere satisfactory
completion of the prescribed curricular is not sufficient preparation
for a student to face the modern day world of work, of which he has to
be properly equipped with communication, organizations and
entrepreneurial skills. For this purpose the college proposes to take up
a number of programs like seminars, mini-projects, technical hobby
clubs, and lecturers by outside experts' quizzes, debates discussions
and visits to industries/ Utilities / Business Organizations/ Research
Laboratories.
In order to enhance career possibilities the institute proposes to
organize Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDP) and career guidance
cell and placement cell (CGPC)
NSS Activities will be centered around Transfer of Technology to rural
areas.

Facilities
A Football cum Cricket Field, a volleyball court,
Table Tennis, Chess Caroms and Tennicoit facilities are available.
The
Student Discipline Policy
The institute believes that one of the attributes
of a successful Engineer especially in these days of intense
competition, is mental and physical discipline. The Institute will
therefore enforce strict discipline, while encouraging innovative
thinking and actions.
The institute defines discipline as a normal decent behavior of
motivated students who wants to make the most of the time and facilities
available. Any action causing mental or physical hurt to a member of the
staff or student and / or leading to disturbance of the class work or
peace on the campus or use of abusive action, will be considered and act
of indiscipline.
The institute will award daren't punishment as determined by a
discipline committee, under intimation to the parents. Some of the
possible punishments are Fines, Oral warnings, recorded warnings,
suspension from the Institute and rustication.
While no formal Dress code is prescribed the student are expected to be
dressed in simple decent clothing.
