As part of our objective “To provide the industry with the best personnel”. NCET grooms its students into qualified and knowledgeable engineers who are motivated, enthusiastic and ready to render their professional services to the corporate world. The placement cell headed by Mr.C.Nikhil, MBA, invokes a sense of confidence amongst the students on their future. The cell has been working hard to arrange guest lecturers, seminars, industrial visits, arranging summer training and searching for best possible placement avenues for the students, under the guidance of the Principal. A committee consisting of senior faculty member from various departments helps the placement cell. Aptitude tests are conducted at regular intervals to the students to face the competitive examinations successfully. Guest lectures are also arranged. Placement cell is organizing In Plant Training in industries for pre-final year students during their summer vacation. This training will give the students an exposure to industrial environment. Also the cell assists the final year students in undertaking Projects in industries and research organizations. Orientation programmes are arranged for the final year students to boost their confidence and assure success in their career. This programme consists of lectures, by experts in the area of Motivation leadership qualities, interview, preparation for competitive exams, Presentation and public speaking, Career guidance, spoken English, etc and Group Discussions. The Placement Cell interacts with various business/industrial organizations and arranges for campus interviews for graduate students in all disciplines. Also it sends students to off campus interviews according to the convenience of the industries. The Placement Cell provides infra -structural facilities to enable the visiting companies to conduct aptitude tests, group discussions and interview in our college itself. We feel Proud to say that many of our alumni are placed in the following reputed companies: 1. Infosys 6. HAL 2. Wipro 7. Garizon Data Services 3. Tata Elxsi 8. Astal Communications. 4. Cognizent 9. Future CyberTech Pvt. Ltd. 5. Satyam Several of the students from the graduating batch have also taken up further studies at top Universities in the US and Europe. It is interesting to note that being such a young campus, 30 pupil among the second batch of the graduating students of 2004 batch were placed in a 27 Year old Offshore - Business Efficiency Provider SYNTEL.
