The Nishitha College of Engineering & Technology, and the Towson University in Maryland, USA, just have come to an understanding about collaboration with one another in the field of Technical education particularly Computer Science and Information technology.

Sri. C.Vinaya Kumar, chairman of the Nishitha Group of Educational  Institutions, visited the Towson University and met Mr. Chao Lu, Dean College of Graduate Studies & Research associate, Vice President for Research of the Towson university on 13^th January 2009. Dr.Chao Lu complimented Sri. C. Vinaya Kumar on the high quality of education provided by the Nishitha Group of Educational institutions.

Towson University  Founded in 1866,  is recognized among the nation's best regional public universities, offering more than 100 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs, With more than 21,000 students, Towson University is the second-largest public university in Maryland. Located near Baltimore, USA.  And  a member of the University System of Maryland, the nation's 12th-largest public university system.

The Nishitha Degree & PG College, Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh, India  was established in 1994 as a self financing Institution. The College is affiliated to Osmania University and offers Bachelors Degree Programes B.Sc.(Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science), B.Sc.(Mathematics, Physics & Computer Science B.Sc.(Mathematics,Electronics & Computer Science), B.Com(Computers), and Post Graduate programmes in Business Administration(MBA) & Master of Computer Applications(MCA). 

The Nishitha College of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad, India, was established in 2003 as a Self Financing Institution. To take Admission in   University Towson students need to take only TOFEL and no GRE is required. 

During the Combined Program the student get 50% Assistantship at the time of One year MS Course and $500.00 as a stipend per Month.  During the Doctoral Program 3 Years the student gets 100% Assistantship for all the 3 years (ie., No Tution Fee) and $1000.00 stipend per month. 

The Towson University, USA and Nishitha Group of Educational Institutions agree in principle to work out Modalities for exchange of Teaching Staff, for a minimum of one semester. The Teachers of the Towson University, besides Teaching, will impart training to the Teachers in the Nishitha Group Of  Educational Institutions  and the teachers in the college, will during their stay in the Towson University, study the Modern Teaching practices implemented in the University, in both theory and practical subjects. 

The Towson University and the Nishitha Group Of Educational  Institutions agree to collaborate in Research Work. A Joint Committee of the University and College Professors will be formed to work out the details.
